Make sure your family or staff are always comfortable.
HEAT PUMPS AND AIR CONDITIONERS ARE COST EFFICIENT HEAT SOURCES - IF YOU DON’T MAINTAIN THEM, YOU MAY
THAT FIND YOU’RE USING MORE POWER THAN YOU NEED TO.
We can design a maintenance plan for you, based on your equipment and needs. These are very cost
effective and it has been statistically proven that units that are regularly maintained last longer, are
cheaper to run and will require less money spent on them over their lifetime. We provide this maintenance
service to the Wellington area including the Hutt Valley and Kapiti Coast.
Repair work is not part of regular maintenance checks and different charges do apply. Please contact us

REGULAR MAINTENANCE CHECKS OF YOUR RESIDENTIAL HEAT PUMPS AND AIR CONDITIONERS
As with any mechanical device, your heat pump has hundreds of moving parts. To ensure you receive the
savings in power consumption that heat pumps offer, it is important that you maintain your unit by
cleaning filters on a regular basis.
We recommend regular professional maintenance checks of all heat pumps. We can provide reminders for when
these are due. At the end of this check we will advise the condition of the unit.
A regular maintenance check takes about an hour for a single hi wall and includes:
Indoor units:
- Check supply/ return air temp on heat
- Check supply/ return air on cooling
- Clean and sanitise filters
- Sanitise indoor coil (eliminates potential bacteria and microbes)
- Check condensate drain and flush
- Check condensate pump if applicable
- Clean case
- Check electrical connections
- Check indoor fan bearings
- Check indoor PCB function
Outdoor units:
- Check condenser airflow
- Clean condenser coil
- Check electrical connections
- Leak test pipe connections and access port
- Check condenser fan motor for bearing noise
- Check unit for undue vibration
- Check compressor function
- Check electronic expansion valve function
- Check reversing valve function
- Remove vegetation around unit as required
